SCOURGE OF NAXALISM IN INDIA: SOCIO-ECONOMIC PERSPECTIVES

Abstract

The present paper aims to discuss the origin and rise of the problem of naxalism in India. We have discussed the various causes of its origin and the ongoing various government initiatives to curb this menace. An analysis of the other related phenomenon from the ideological point of view has also been done to arrive at certain conclusions in the paper.
